Classic+ Features

CirrusRO keeps the vanilla feel and adds a handful of quality-of-life systems, none of them pay-to-win.

Aruna Welcome Pack

Every account gets a free one-time Welcome Pack from Aruna, who stands right at the Novice Training Grounds spawn under a "Welcome Pack" sign ("Click Me!" balloon until you claim). All of it is account-bound, shared by every character you make:

Item Amount
Advanced Battle Manual (+100% EXP) 3
Job Manual (+50% Job EXP) 3
Bubble Gum (+100% drop) 2
Kafra Transportation Ticket 15
Kafra Storage Ticket 15
Kafra Card (remote storage) 2
Elite Siege Supply Box 2
Costume Swablu 1
Neuralizer (skill reset) 1
Premium Reset Stone (stat reset) 1
Blessing Scroll 4
Agi Scroll 4

Left the Training Grounds without it? Any new character starts at the same spot, so your account can still claim it on a fresh alt. Full walkthrough: New Player Guide.

Cirrus Rested EXP

Away for a while? You bank Rested EXP while logged off and redeem it for a timed +50% Base & Job EXP boost, so casual and returning players catch up faster.

  • Accrue: about 10 rested minutes per hour offline, up to a 6-hour pool (per character).
  • Redeem: talk to Cirrus Rested EXP (Prontera 153,184) and pick how long to run (30 / 60 / 120 min).
  • Pauses when you log out, so a disconnect never wastes it; it resumes with the same time left.
  • @autotrade counts as being online: you don't bank rest while your shop is open (rest starts when the shop closes), and an active Rested buff keeps ticking while you vend. Redeem your rested time after you're done vending, not before.
  • Applies to normal monster and mini-boss kills (not MVPs or quest EXP), and it's earned only, never bought.
  • Check your balance anytime with @rested.

Cirrus Enchanter

Roll random options onto your gear for zeny at the Cirrus Enchanter (Prontera 162,191). It's a pure zeny sink with no best-in-slot outcome, no power creep, and you never buy it with cash. See the Enchant System page for the full slot-by-slot breakdown of every stat you can roll.

On a weapon you can name Slot 1. Slot 1 decides whether the weapon comes out physical or magic and the other three slots follow it, so a random MATK on a bow or spear wasted the roll. Pick ATK %, Critical Damage % or MATK % for 2,000,000z, or keep rolling it at random for 1,000,000z. Slots 2 to 4 stay random either way, and non-weapon gear is unchanged.

Card Remover

Take your cards back out, with no risk at all. The Card Remover (Prontera 143,179) pulls every card out of one worn item and hands you back both the cards and the equipment, unharmed. Your refine level is kept.

It cannot fail. There is no gamble, no destroyed card, no destroyed gear.

  • Wear the item first, then pick it from the list.
  • Price: 750,000z base, +250,000z for each card in that item, plus 5 Oridecon and 5 Elunium. The metals are the same whether the item holds one card or four.
Cards in the item Zeny Metals
1 1,000,000z 5 Oridecon + 5 Elunium
2 1,250,000z 5 Oridecon + 5 Elunium
3 1,500,000z 5 Oridecon + 5 Elunium
4 1,750,000z 5 Oridecon + 5 Elunium

Make room in your bag first

The remover needs space to give your cards back, so it refuses if your inventory is full or you are overweight. It says so and charges you nothing when that happens. Free a few slots and come back.

Cirrus Reset Maiden

Stat resets are free while you are base level 20 or under. Just talk to the Cirrus Reset Maiden (Prontera 164,191): no item, no cost, as often as you like. Try a build, change your mind, try another one. Nothing is wasted while you are still learning the class.

Past level 20, and for skill resets at any level, you need an item from the Cirrus Quartermaster:

  • Stat reset: buy a Premium Reset Stone (200 coins), then talk to the Cirrus Reset Maiden (Prontera 164,191) to reset your stats.
  • Skill reset: buy a Neuralizer (200 coins) and use it directly, no NPC needed.

Copycat

Rogues and Stalkers, meet the Copycat (Prontera 139,174). If you have learned Plagiarism, he can set your copied skill to any copyable skill at the level you choose, for a small zeny fee per level, no need to find a player of the right class to copy from in the field.

  • Only skills that Plagiarism can normally copy are offered, capped by your Plagiarism level.
  • Same rules as a real field copy: one skill at a time, and picking a new one replaces the old. The copy persists across relogs.
  • Forgetting your current copy is free.
  • If you have Preserve active (so your copy is locked), he will not overwrite it.

Cirrus Registrar

The Cirrus Registrar (Prontera 144,174) handles identity changes: a fresh name or a gender swap. Buy the matching coupon from the Cash Shop Other tab (Name or Gender Change Coupon, 1,100 points each), then talk to the Registrar to apply it.

Cirrus Warper

A Cirrus Warper NPC stands in each of the 23 towns and at the Midgard Expedition Camp (for example, Prontera 156,184). She runs several services from one menu: Dungeon Warp, Town Warp, a Cirrus Shop, and a Cirrus Buff. There is no heal and no storage on the warper, in keeping with the classic feel.

Last Warp

Both lists put a Last Warp row at the top, repeating the last place you warped at a discount, so a repeat trip is one click instead of two menus and costs less than going the long way round. Dungeon repeats are 3,500 / 7,000 / 11,000z and town repeats 2,000 / 3,000 / 8,000z, against the full fares in the tables below. On Dungeon Warp it skips the price-tier step as well. It is remembered per character, and on Town Warp the row is hidden while you are already standing in that town.

Dungeon Warp

Warps you to dungeon entrances (37 destinations). Each destination is unlocked once per account by first visiting it and talking to the Dungeon Unlocker standing at that dungeon's entrance. Gate quests count for your whole account (since July 31, 2026): if one of your characters has finished a dungeon's access quest, every character on the account can take the warp there. Fees are a small zeny sink by region:

Region Fee
Basic 5,000z
Advanced 10,000z
Overseas 15,000z

Fees sit above the official boats and keepers, so those stay the budget option. Access quests count for your whole account since July 31, 2026: once any character on your account has finished a dungeon's access quest, every character can take the warp there. For most quest-locked dungeons the warp still drops you outside the gate; Moscovia, Turtle Island, Ayothaya and Rachel Sanctuary land you at or inside the dungeon itself (Ayothaya on floor 1), so once anyone on the account has done the quest, any character can reach those interiors.

Amatsu Dungeon is the exception: the warp lands you at the tatami-maze entrance itself, because its gate guard stands deep inside the palace. Since July 31, 2026 the check is account-wide: once any of your characters has finished the Amatsu questline, every character on the account can take the warp, no permit needed for the warp itself. (Walking in past the gate guard still requires the quest and the Feudal Lord Permit on that character; lost yours? The soldier inside the palace re-issues it for 10,000z once the quest is done.) Inside the maze, Fly Wing and the Teleport skill work (floor 1 no longer blocks them).

Town Warp

Sends you back to a town you have already visited, plus the Midgard Expedition Camp. Talk to the Cirrus Warper there once and it joins your account's travel log; from then on, any Cirrus Warper can warp you back. So reaching a far town the first time still costs the usual boat or airship, but every trip after is a quick warp. Full fares sit a touch above official transport, so Kafra teleports and airships stay the budget choice. Repeat trips via the Last Warp row are cheaper still: an Overseas repeat is 8,000z, which undercuts the 10,000z ferry one-way, though the ferry fare covers a free return leg and is still what you take on the first visit that unlocks the town.

Zone Fee
Local towns (Kafra belt) 2,500z
Far Midgard (airship and overland towns) 4,000z
Overseas (ferry towns) 12,000z

Cirrus Shop

A small general shop right at the warp point: potions, wings, arrows, bullets, shuriken, throwing knives, and more, with both buying and selling. Merchant Discount and Overcharge apply exactly as they do at any other NPC vendor.

Buff service

Choose Cirrus Buff from the menu to get Blessing + Increase AGI (Level 10) for 30 minutes. It buffs only you, and the fee scales with your base level all the way to 99, so it's cheap while you're leveling and a light zeny sink once you're established. Since July 31, 2026 the price keeps rising smoothly to level 99 instead of hitting its ceiling at 80, which made it cheaper for almost everyone (a level 1 character now pays a princely 4z instead of 1z; levels 2 to 98 all pay less; 99 is capped at 45,000z):

Base Level Fee
1 4z
50 ~11,500z
70 ~22,500z
90 ~37,200z
99 45,000z (the ceiling, reached only here)

The 30-minute Cirrus Buff also holds its full duration if a friendly Priest recasts a shorter Blessing or Increase AGI on you, so your paid buff is never cut short. The flip side: a Blessing or Increase AGI scroll used while the Cirrus Buff is running is spent for nothing, because the shorter scroll buff cannot override the longer one. Save your scrolls for after it runs out.

Rested EXP at the warper

The Cirrus Rested EXP attendant stands right next to the Cirrus Warper in every warper town, so you can redeem your rested time wherever you warp.

Stylist

Change your look at the Stylist (Prontera 170,180): cloth color, hairstyle, and hair color. Browse everything free and pay only when you keep a look, at 500,000z, 40 Cirrus Coins, or 10 Cash Points per restyling (your choice of currency).

Costume Tailor

Two costumes you love, both fighting for the same slot. The Cirrus Costume Tailor (Prontera 172,183, next to the Stylist) moves a head costume to a different slot: Upper, Middle or Lower. The costume looks exactly the same afterwards, so this is purely about wearing together what used to clash. Same price as the Stylist: 500,000z, 40 Cirrus Coins, or 10 Cash Points. Take the costume off first, it must be in your inventory and not worn.

Hourly Points Shop Hourly Points

Just being online earns you something. Every full hour logged in gives 1 Hourly Point, account-wide, up to 24 a day. Partial hours carry over when you log out, so a 40-minute session is not wasted. Vendors left running with @autotrade do not earn.

Spend them at the Hourly Points Shop (Prontera 147,170), which has two counters.

Limited Goods are account-bound and capped per account per week, on their own allowance that does not touch your Cirrus Quartermaster caps:

Item Points Weekly cap
Bubble Gum (+100% drop) 10 2
Advanced Battle Manual (+100% EXP) 6 4
Token of Siegfried (auto-res, PvE) 5 3
Job Manual (+50% Job EXP) 3 4
Elite Siege Supply Box 2 10
Increase AGI / Blessing / Magnificat Box 2 each 10 each
STR / INT / VIT / AGI / DEX / LUK +3 Dish Box 1 each 10 each

Costumes are tradeable, with no cap and no per-account limit:

Costume Points
Guildsman / Party / Bf / Gf / Friend Recruiter Hat 200 each
Fool's Day Helmet 200
Sleeping Cat Hat 150
Sleeper Hat / Lazy Raccoon / Sitting Puppy 100 each

The NPC tells you your balance when you talk to it, and you get a chat message each time a point lands.

Daily Attendance

A 20-day cumulative sign-in track that repeats forever: claim Day 20 and you start again at Day 1 on your next sign-in day. Bigger milestone prizes on days 5, 10, 15, and 20, plus Cirrus Consumables samplers along the way.

Collect your reward mail within 15 days

Attendance rewards arrive by mail, and unclaimed mail is deleted after 15 days. It cannot be restored, so open your mailbox regularly.

Code Redeemer

Got a promo or event code? Enter it at the Code Redeemer (Prontera 164,174) to claim its item rewards in-game. Codes are handed out by staff through Discord drops, events, and giveaways.

Potion Converter

Turn spare WoE potions into the kind you actually need at the Potion Converter (Prontera 142,174). It swaps Siege White Potions and Siege Blue Potions both ways, at 2 Siege White for 1 Siege Blue (and 1 Siege Blue back into 2 Siege White), for a small 300z fee per potion you receive. Handy for topping up whichever Siege potion you're short on before a WoE.

Faster Resting

Sitting down recovers HP and SP about twice as fast as stock. From empty, a typical high-level character is back to full in roughly 4 and a half minutes for HP (it was around 9) and 2.6 minutes for SP. Nothing to buy or click: just sit.

At 70% weight or more, recovery stops completely

Not slower, stopped. This is standard Ragnarok behaviour, and it is the single most common reason resting seems broken. If you sit after a long farm and nothing happens, you are overweight, so sell or store some loot first.

Food, potions and Priest heals are unaffected, and Inn rest is still there when you want to skip the wait. See Rates & Mechanics for the numbers alongside the other rates.

Sparring Master at 143,366Sparring Master at 155,366 Training Dummies

Test your real damage on Training Dummies at prt_fild08, talk to a Sparring Master (prt_fild08 143,366 & 155,366) to set any monster, then hit the dummies (prt_fild08 146,366 & 152,366). The dummy copies the target's level, defenses, element, race, size, and boss flag, so your element/race/size/boss modifiers all read true, and it never dies or drops loot.

Working systems

These classic systems are all live and supported:

  • Homunculus: Alchemist/Creator homunculi, with the Bioethics quest (Alchemist NPC at Lighthalzen lhz_in01 218,141) and auto-feed. Custom homunculus AI (AzzyAI and friends) works, but it has to go in the right folder: see the note below.
  • Mercenary: hire Sword, Bow, and Spear mercenaries from the Mercenary Guilds (Sword: Izlude 47,139 · Spear: Prontera 41,337 · Bow: Payon Archer Village pay_arche 99,167).
  • Zeny Bank: deposit and withdraw zeny safely.
  • Guild Storage: open it from the Kafra at the Prontera plaza (prontera 158,184), for 500z per open. No guild skill is required (the pre-renewal skill tree has no Guild Storage skill, so we dropped the requirement instead of leaving storage locked for everyone), and every guild gets a flat 600 slots. Only the plaza Kafra offers it, other town Kafras are unchanged.
  • Pets: tameable pets work as usual, with two rules kinder than official. Neglect can no longer cost you the pet: a hungry pet stops falling at Awkward instead of running away, so forgetting to feed it never destroys the egg. (Deliberately dropping or selling an unhatched egg still loses it.) And once a pet is fed all the way to maximum intimacy (Loyal + full EXP bar), it locks there and never decays again.
  • Adventurer's Agency: the party recruitment board.
  • Rodex Mail: the modern in-game mail system.
  • Refining, your choice of window: talk to a blacksmith refiner (Hollgrehenn, e.g. prt_in 63,60 in the Prontera tool shop) and pick the classic dialog or the modern refine window, which shows success rates and materials at a glance. It asks every visit, at all seven town refiners. Same ore, same zeny, same odds either way, and a failed refine still destroys the gear.
  • Rough ore exchange, in batches: the town ore exchangers turn 5 Rough Oridecon into 1 Oridecon (and 5 Rough Elunium into 1 Elunium), free. Pick which one and type how many: the NPC tells you the most it can make and does the lot in one go. All seven towns: Dietrich (Prontera), Hakhim (Payon), Abdula (Morroc), Xenophon (Alberta), Delight (Juno), Matestein (Einbroch), Fruel (Lighthalzen).
  • Marriage: get hitched at the Wedding Staff (Prontera Church prt_church 97,100). Both partners must be base level 45+ and bring a Diamond Ring, plus their outfit and fee (groom: a Tuxedo + 1,300,000z · bride: a Wedding Dress + 1,200,000z), to receive their Wedding Rings. Changed your mind? The Divorce Staff (prt_church 20,179) handles splits.

Using a custom homunculus AI (AzzyAI)

Custom AI scripts work fine on CirrusRO, but two things trip almost everyone up.

1. Install it into AI_sakray\USER_AI\, not AI\USER_AI\. Most AI packs (AzzyAI included) tell you to extract into AI\. Our client does not read that folder at all, so the AI is silently ignored and your homunculus just keeps using the default behaviour. Nothing looks broken, it simply does nothing. The correct path is:

C:\RO\CirrusRO\AI_sakray\USER_AI\

If you already extracted it to AI\USER_AI\, just copy those files over to AI_sakray\USER_AI\ instead.

2. Type /hoai in game to switch it on. /hoai toggles your homunculus between the default AI and your custom one. Until you use it, the client keeps loading the default script no matter what you installed. Vaporize and re-summon your homunculus afterwards, and you should see your AI's own startup message.

Running a custom mercenary AI too? Same folder, and the toggle is /merai.
