Update: July 20, 2026

A quick mid-week maintenance for balancing. No client patch is needed this time. Here is everything that changed.

Economy rebalance

We're rebalancing the economy so no single farm spot dominates. A short list of high-yield loots have had their NPC sell values adjusted, and a few have had their drop rates set to classic (pre-5x) values.

Every number is on the new Economy Balancing page, with a before-and-after for each item.

The short version:

  • Card drops, equipment drop rates, EXP, and Cirrus Coins are unchanged. This only trims sell-to-NPC income at the outlier spots.
  • Starter and everyday loot is untouched (Jellopy, Fluff, Zargon, Cyfar, and friends), and items used for quests, brewing, forging, or as consumables keep dropping exactly as before, only their NPC price moved.
  • Every spot still pays; the goal is simply that no single map prints the whole server's wealth.

We will keep watching the economy over the coming week and adjust individual items in either direction if needed.

Leveling

Repeatable EXP quests give less EXP. The Classic repeatable EXP quests were handing out enough that they outpaced normal hunting, so their Base and Job EXP rewards are now slightly lower. Everything else about them is the same: same NPCs, same level ranges, same items and hunt sizes, and they are still repeatable. The Repeatable EXP Quests page shows the new numbers.

Server EXP rates are unchanged at 5x. This only affects what these particular quests hand out.

Quality of life

  • The Cirrus Buff costs less at high levels. The Warper's 30-minute Blessing + Increase AGI buff is priced by your level, and its ceiling dropped from 75,000 to 50,000 zeny. Characters below level 80 already paid less than that and are unaffected; level 80+ now pay a flat 50,000.
